Family: Youngest of three, single and traveling
Attended St. Martin's Catholic School for eight years.
1996 got his first paper published in The Ledger, a local newspaper located around Winter Haven while he was a Freshman
at Winter Haven High School.
Scored High Honor Roll every year in high school and got a 1998 Honda Accord from his grandfather as a present.
1999 Grandfather dies, leaves Delon and siblings trust fund allowing him to devote more time to his love of exotic car
shows.
2000 Accepted at Florida State and the University of Miami but choose Niagara University at his mother's suggestion. His
mother is a devoted Catholic.
2001 Before going to college trades his Honda for an Acura NSX sportscar, a yellow one no less and wondered why people
kept coming up to him.
Lived just off campus in Lewiston with his friends until they were robbed then moved in with an uncle in Amherst, New
York until he graduated.
2001 - 2005 maintained a four day schedule at college to work on the weekends for Mareis Media and visited 25 cities one
year. Mareis Media covers auto events around the world. Delon also did an internship with the Howard Stern show in the fall
of 2002.
2005 Graduates with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism immediately moves back to Florida to start career as beat
reporter for the Miami Herald.
2006 His Freelance Columns have ran in the Review-Journal in Las Vegas, USA Today, and ESPN.com Still contributes to ESPN
the Magazine.
2007 Currently resides in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. Has "friends that are girls" but not dating because he's
"married to his work". I think he's still looking for Rachel.
Has a golden retriever named Stormy and an aquarium with three fish named "aquaman, superman, and batman"...no
lie!
Most prized possession: Kit car from the television series Knight Rider a gift from his dad. "It still works!"
